Background
Before building Zoho systems for others, Hari worked on the operator's side: managing sales teams, owning revenue targets, and running the CRM cadences, campaigns and reports that decide whether a quarter is made. That is why Flowpeak judges a Zoho system by one test: does the person carrying a target actually want to use it?
Today he scopes, designs and oversees Zoho CRM, Books, Inventory, Creator, People, Payroll, ERP and Zoho One projects for businesses in India, the Gulf, North America, the UK and Europe, delivered remotely from Chennai.
What 10 years of Zoho projects have taught him
Zoho CRM is not ready to use out of the box
Most people buy Zoho CRM thinking they can use it as it comes. That is rarely the case: it has to be customised to how your team actually sells. Most of our Zoho CRM projects go live within two weeks. Integrations and complex workflows or Blueprints can add time, and we tell you that before we start.
Why the partner you choose matters
Many business owners tell me they "burnt their hands" with a previous partner: money and months spent, and a system the team does not use. Before you sign with anyone, ask to see a similar workflow already working in Zoho, and ask who will train your people.
What happens when nobody trains the team
A company in Dubai came to me after cutting its Zoho One licences from 100 users to 2. Their previous partner had not trained the team, so people stopped using the apps they were paying for. We are now helping them recover. A Zoho One rollout only pays off when each app is set up for how people work and the team is shown how to use it.
Zoho ERP or Zoho One for a manufacturer?
Manufacturers often ask me whether to choose Zoho ERP or Zoho One. If the pain is mostly on the shop floor, stock and costing, the depth of Zoho ERP matters, where it is available. If you also need sales, HR, support and custom apps connected, Zoho One covers more ground. We compare both against your own process before you buy any licence.
How he works
- Scope before software. Every project starts with your process mapped in writing, before any configuration.
- Adoption is the deliverable. Training and documentation are part of what "done" means, not an add-on.
- Name the app, not the adjective. Proposals say exactly which Zoho app does what, so you can check them.
- Honest timelines. Most Zoho CRM projects go live within two weeks; integrations and complex workflows or Blueprints add time, and he says so before you sign.
