Zoho Audit & Health Check

If your Zoho "feels messy" (duplicate records nobody cleans up, workflows nobody remembers building, licences nobody is using), an audit tells you exactly what is wrong before you spend more money making it worse. You get a report. What you do with it is entirely up to you.

Short answer

A Zoho audit is a review of your Zoho setup: data quality, automations, integrations, user roles and security, licence use and adoption. You get a written report that ranks every issue by risk and effort to fix. A Flowpeak audit usually takes three to ten business days, needs admin access, and the report is yours to act on with anyone.

This is for you if...

You've been on Zoho for a year or more and things have drifted from how it was originally set up

You're paying for licences or add-ons and aren't sure anyone's using them

You're about to hand Zoho over to a new admin or partner and want a clean baseline first

Reports don't match reality, so nobody trusts the numbers

A written report ranking every issue by risk, impact and effort to fix, so you can prioritise the two or three things that actually matter instead of trying to fix everything at once.

What a Zoho audit costs

A full audit is quoted as one fixed price after a free call, based on the number of Zoho apps, users and integrations. You can start with the free Zoho audit call to see if a full audit is worth it.

If the audit shows the setup needs rebuilding rather than fixing, project rescue starts from USD 430 or INR 40,000.

Zoho audit or Zoho audit log: what is the difference?

Zoho apps such as Zoho CRM and Zoho Books keep an audit log (also called an audit trail): a record of who changed what and when. It is a built-in feature you can open in settings.

A Zoho audit, the service on this page, is a review by a person of how your whole setup works. We use the audit log as one of our sources, for example to see which automations change records, but the report covers much more than the log.

How to clean up Zoho CRM data

If the audit shows messy data, this is the order we usually fix it in. You can follow the same steps yourself.

  1. Back up first: export the modules you will change.
  2. Agree the rules: which fields decide a duplicate, which record wins.
  3. Merge duplicates with Zoho CRM's deduplication tools, starting with accounts, then contacts and leads.
  4. Standardise picklists and formats (countries, phone numbers, stages).
  5. Archive or delete records nobody needs, following your retention rules.
  6. Stop the mess coming back: required fields, validation rules and fixed web forms.

Signs your Zoho setup needs an audit

  • Sales and finance report different numbers for the same month
  • People keep side spreadsheets because Zoho "does not work"
  • Nobody knows what a workflow or integration does, or who built it
  • Your previous partner or admin has left
  • Licence costs have grown faster than your team

Questions people ask

Do you need admin access to our Zoho account?
Yes, at least read-level admin access for the apps in scope. Access can be removed the moment the audit ends.
Is this a one-time thing or ongoing?
One-time by default. Businesses that want this on a recurring basis usually move to managed services instead.
Do we have to hire you to fix what you find?
No. The report is yours to act on however and with whoever you choose.
How long does an audit take?
Typically three to ten business days, depending on how many apps and users are in scope.
Will the audit change anything in our Zoho?
No. The audit only reviews. Nothing is changed unless you ask us to fix something afterwards.

Usually three to ten business days, depending on the number of apps and users.

Can I try a quick self-check first?

Yes. The free Zoho health check on this site gives a score and the first fixes in a few minutes.

How do I clean up data in Zoho CRM?

Back up first, agree duplicate rules, merge duplicates starting with accounts, standardise picklists and formats, archive records you do not need, then add required fields and validation so the mess does not come back.

What do I get at the end of a Zoho audit?

A written report that ranks every issue by risk and effort, a prioritised fix plan and a walkthrough of the findings with your team.
