Choose the right edition

Zoho Books has country editions for some European countries and a general edition for others. We confirm which fits your country before set-up, because it decides the tax reports you get.

Domestic VAT

Set your standard and reduced rates and give each item its default rate. Check the rates against your country's current rules with your accountant.

Reverse charge for EU B2B sales

• Record each business customer's VAT number
• Apply reverse charge on cross-border B2B sales so no VAT is charged
• Show the reverse charge wording your country requires on the invoice
• Include these sales in your EC sales list where required

Sales to consumers in other EU countries

Above the EU threshold, VAT on cross-border sales to consumers is charged at the customer's country rate, often reported through the One Stop Shop (OSS). We set up the rates and reports your accountant needs.
