Zoho CRM Plus vs Zoho One: which should you choose?

Choose Zoho CRM Plus if you only need customer-facing apps: CRM, Desk, SalesIQ, Campaigns, Marketing Automation, Social, Survey, Analytics and Projects. Choose Zoho One if you also want finance, HR and operations apps such as Books, Inventory, People, Payroll, Creator and Mail. Zoho One also contains the core CRM Plus apps.

Zoho CRM Plus is Zoho's customer experience bundle. Zoho's CRM Plus page lists CRM, SalesInbox, SalesIQ, Desk, Projects, Campaigns, Social, Survey, Analytics, Marketing Automation, PageSense, Backstage, Cliq and Webinars. It is licensed per user, so you pay only for the people in sales, marketing and support.

Zoho One covers the whole business. On top of the CRM Plus apps, it adds Books, Invoice, Billing, Expense, Inventory, Commerce, Payroll, People, Recruit, Creator, Flow, Mail, WorkDrive, Sign and more, for over 50 apps in total. Zoho One has its own licensing models, including one that covers every employee, which suits companies where most staff need some Zoho app.

A useful rule: if your finance team is happy with QuickBooks or Xero and HR uses another tool, CRM Plus is usually enough. If you want accounting, HR, email and custom apps from Zoho too, Zoho One usually works out simpler than stacking several bundles. Our longer guide compares the two in more detail.

Moving from CRM Plus to Zoho One later is possible, because the apps are the same. Your CRM and Desk data stay in place when you change the licence. Plan the switch at renewal time and review which users need which apps. For licensing questions, Zoho's sales team or a registered Zoho partner can check the current terms for your region.
