Why are we paying for Zoho One but still doing manual syncing between apps?

Zoho One gives you the apps and a single licence, but each app still needs to be connected and configured. Native integrations such as CRM with Books, or Books with Inventory, must be switched on and mapped. Others need Zoho Flow, Deluge or a shared organisation setup. If your team still copies data by hand, the setup is incomplete, not Zoho One itself.

Zoho One is a bundle of many apps under one account, with shared users and a single admin panel. That makes integration possible and cheaper, but it does not happen automatically. Many companies turn on the apps they need and start working in each one separately, so the connections are never set up.

Some links are native: CRM to Books through the Zoho Finance integration, Books and Inventory in one organisation, CRM with Desk, Campaigns and SalesIQ, and People with Payroll. Each needs turning on and mapping fields. For anything else, Zoho Flow can move data between apps without code, and Deluge functions can handle custom logic.

Start by listing every place someone copies data by hand, how often, and how long it takes. Fix the most frequent ones first. Also check for duplicate organisations or user accounts, which block integrations. A short audit usually finds that a few connections remove most of the manual work.
