How do I keep products and orders in sync across Shopify, Zoho Inventory and Zoho Books?

Connect Shopify to Zoho Inventory using Zoho's native Shopify integration, and run Zoho Inventory and Zoho Books in the same Zoho finance organisation so they share items, customers, invoices and payments. Pick one system as the master for product data, usually Inventory, and do not connect Shopify to Books separately. That avoids duplicate items and double-counted sales.

Zoho Inventory and Zoho Books share one organisation's data. An item, customer or invoice in one shows up in the other. Shopify connects to Inventory, which pulls orders, creates sales orders or invoices, and pushes stock levels back to Shopify. Books then sees the same sales for accounting, with no extra link needed.

Decide the master for each type of data. Products are usually created in Inventory and pushed to Shopify, or created in Shopify and imported once, then managed in one place only. Map SKUs carefully, because the integration relies on them to match items. Set how orders flow, how payouts and fees are recorded, and how tax is handled for your country, such as GST in India or VAT in the UK.
