Is Zoho Payroll available in Canada yet?

Yes. Zoho announced a Canadian edition of Zoho Payroll in 2025, and it has since been offered in Zoho One as well. Coverage of provinces, statutory deductions, filings and integrations may still be expanding, so check Zoho's current Canadian help pages for your province and needs, such as Quebec rules, before switching from your current payroll provider.

For years Canadian users asked for Zoho Payroll, and many used other providers alongside Zoho Books. The Canadian edition changed that. It is designed to handle federal and provincial deductions such as CPP, EI and income tax, and to post payroll to Zoho Books. Treat any new regional edition with care and confirm details before moving.

Check the specifics that matter to you. Which provinces are supported, including Quebec with its own plans? Does it produce the year-end slips and remittance reports you need? Does it handle your pay types, benefits and vacation pay rules? Does it integrate with Zoho People for leave and attendance?

If it meets your needs, plan the switch at a calendar year end or quarter end to keep year-to-date figures simple. Run a parallel payroll first and compare net pay and deductions line by line with your current provider.
