Is there a Windows desktop app for Bigin?

At the time of writing, Bigin does not have a dedicated Windows desktop app. Windows users work in Bigin through a web browser, and Zoho offers mobile apps for Android and iOS. Community users have asked Zoho for a Windows app, so check Zoho's download page before you decide. A browser shortcut or installed web app works well as a stand-in.

Bigin is built as a web app first, so everything you need runs in a modern browser on Windows. There is no feature you lose by not having a desktop install. The main thing people want from a desktop app is a separate window, a taskbar icon and notifications, and you can get most of that from the browser itself.

In Chrome or Edge you can open Bigin and use the browser's option to install the site as an app or create a shortcut. It then opens in its own window without tabs and can be pinned to the taskbar. Allow browser notifications for the Bigin site so reminders and activity alerts reach you. For calls and quick updates on the move, the Bigin mobile apps cover most daily work.

Zoho does release desktop apps for some products, and its plans change. If a native Windows app matters to your team, check the Bigin download page or the Zoho community for current status rather than relying on older forum posts.
