Is there a charge for adding client users to Zoho Projects?

Client users in Zoho Projects have generally not been charged like regular paid users, so you can invite customers to view and collaborate on their projects. Zoho Projects separates portal users, who are your team, from client users, who are people from your customer's company. Client users can be given access to specific projects to view progress, comment, upload documents and approve work. They belong to a client company record and only see projects linked to it.

Licensing is the part to confirm. Paid plans are priced on your team's users, and client users have usually been treated differently. Because Zoho reviews plans from time to time, read the current pricing page or ask Zoho sales, especially if you plan to invite many clients.

Set permissions carefully. Use client roles to decide what they can see: tasks, milestones, documents, timesheets or invoices. Hide internal tasks and comments, and test with a dummy client user before inviting real customers. Clear access makes client collaboration useful rather than a risk.
