How do I link price books to specific accounts for quoting in Zoho CRM?
Zoho CRM does not tie a price book to an account out of the box. The common fix is a lookup field on the Account that points to the customer's price book, plus a small automation, such as a client script or function, that applies that price book's list prices when a rep adds products to a quote. Reps then quote the right price without searching.

Our prices are published. Zoho CRM setup starts at USD 500 (GBP 400, EUR 450, CAD 700, AUD 760, AED 1,850, SAR 1,900), with every service and integration price on one page: see Flowpeak's Zoho implementation pricing.
Price books in Zoho CRM hold special prices for a set of products, with flat or volume-based pricing. When a rep adds a product to a quote, they can choose a price book manually. That works for a few customers but leads to mistakes when every key account has its own pricing.
Add a lookup field called Price Book to the Accounts module and fill it for each account with special terms. On the Quotes module, use a client script or a Deluge function that reads the account's price book and sets the list price on each product line. Client scripts run in the browser as the rep builds the quote, so they give immediate feedback. Availability depends on your edition, so check before you design.
Keep a fallback. If an account has no price book, the standard product price applies. Restrict who can edit price books and the lookup field, and test with a quote that mixes products inside and outside the price book.
Key points
- Create price books for each customer group or key account.
- Add a Price Book lookup field on Accounts and fill it.
- Write a client script or function that applies list prices on quotes.
- Set the standard price as the fallback when no price book is linked.
- Limit edit rights and test with mixed product quotes.
Common questions
Can one account use more than one price book?
Yes, but then you need a rule for which one wins, such as by product category or date range.
Do price books work on sales orders and invoices too?
Yes. Apply the same automation to those modules so prices stay consistent through the sale.
