Does Zoho One have fixed asset management?

Partly. Zoho Books, which is part of Zoho One, has a fixed asset feature on supported editions and regions for recording assets and running depreciation. For tracking physical assets, such as who holds a laptop or where equipment sits, teams use Zoho Creator apps or the asset tracking features in Zoho Desk or Zoho FSM. On the accounting side, the fixed asset feature in Zoho Books lets you register assets, choose a depreciation method and post depreciation to the ledger. That covers what your accountant needs for the balance sheet. Availability and options depend on your Books edition and country, so check the current help page.

Physical tracking is a different need. If you want serial numbers, locations, assigned employees, maintenance schedules and audits, Zoho Creator is the usual answer. Creator apps can link assets to employees in Zoho People and push purchase values to Books. Zoho Desk and Zoho FSM also track customer assets for service work, which suits companies servicing equipment at client sites.

Start by deciding which question you need answered: what is the asset worth, or where is it and who has it. Many firms need both, with Books for value and a Creator app for tracking.
