Does Zoho CRM integrate with Gmail?
Yes. Zoho CRM connects to Gmail in three main ways: the Zoho CRM for Gmail add-on, which shows CRM details beside an email and lets you add leads or contacts; mailbox sync through the Gmail API or IMAP, so customer emails appear in CRM; and BCC Dropbox, which files emails you BCC.

The Zoho CRM for Gmail add-on works inside Gmail itself. According to Zoho's help pages, from an open email you can add the sender as a lead or contact, update fields such as phone or lead source, open the record with View in CRM, and associate the email with the lead or contact so it appears in CRM. It works in any browser and in the Gmail mobile app. Any user can install it, and Google Workspace admins can install it for the whole domain.
Mailbox sync brings your Gmail into Zoho CRM's email tab, so emails with customers sit on their records. You can connect through the Gmail API, where Zoho says emails are called from Gmail's servers and not copied, or through IMAP, where emails are stored in Zoho CRM. During setup you choose an email sharing permission, which decides which colleagues can see the emails linked to records.
BCC Dropbox is the simplest option. Each user gets a unique address. BCC it on an email to a customer, and Zoho CRM files the email against the matching lead or contact, or can create one. Zoho's help pages note it works only for leads and contacts, only from verified sender addresses, may take up to 3 minutes, and is capped at 10,000 emails a day per organisation on the Standard edition.
Which edition includes which option changes over time, so check Zoho's feature availability chart for your edition before you plan around one. For most teams on Google Workspace, the add-on plus Gmail API sync gives the best day-to-day experience. BCC Dropbox is a useful fallback for people who send from other mail clients or shared addresses.
