Can I use Google Workspace and Zoho apps together on one domain?

Yes. Many businesses keep Gmail through Google Workspace and use Zoho CRM, Books, Desk or other Zoho apps on the same domain. Keep your MX records pointing to Google, verify the domain in Zoho if an app asks, and add Zoho's SPF and DKIM records so emails sent from Zoho apps are trusted. Avoid running Zoho Mail and Gmail on the same addresses.

Your domain's MX records decide where incoming email goes. If they point to Google, Gmail receives your mail. Zoho business apps do not need to receive mail on your domain to work. They need to send mail on your behalf, such as invoices from Zoho Books or campaign emails, which is handled by SPF and DKIM records.

SPF has a catch. Your domain can only have one SPF record, so you must merge Google's and Zoho's entries into a single line rather than adding a second record. DKIM is separate per service, so add Zoho's DKIM key alongside Google's. Then add or review your DMARC policy. Test by sending from each Zoho app to an external address and checking that the message passes.

Users can sign in to Zoho with their usual work email. Zoho CRM and Desk can also sync with Gmail so emails show on records. If you later want to move mail to Zoho Mail, that is a separate project with its own migration plan.
