Can Zoho Inventory ship multi-package orders through carrier integrations?

Zoho Inventory lets you split one sales order into several packages and create shipments for them. How multi-piece shipments are handled, as one consignment or separate labels, depends on the carrier and integration, so test your main carrier before relying on it.

In Zoho Inventory, the flow runs from sales order to package to shipment. One order can have several packages, each with its own items, weight and dimensions. You then ship each package, either manually with a tracking number or through a connected carrier or shipping service to get rates and labels.

The carrier options vary by country. Zoho Inventory has integrations with major carriers and shipping aggregators in regions such as the US and India. Some create one label per package, while others support a multi-piece shipment under one master tracking number. Check the current list of shipping integrations in your region's help pages and the carrier's own rules.

Before go-live, run a test order with three packages through your main carrier. Check rates, labels, tracking updates and how the customer is notified. If an integration falls short, a shipping aggregator or a custom API connection can fill the gap.
