Can Bigin send automated follow-up sequences?

Bigin can automate simple follow-ups with workflow rules that send emails, create tasks or update fields when a deal is created or moves stage. It is not built for multi-step sales cadences with branching and timed steps. For true sequences, people usually connect an email marketing tool or move up to Zoho CRM, which offers cadences on supported editions.

Bigin is Zoho's lightweight CRM for small teams, and its automation is kept deliberately simple. Workflow rules run when a record is created, edited or moved to a pipeline stage, and they can send an email from a template, assign a task or change a field. That covers a lot of everyday follow-up, such as a thank-you email when a deal enters a stage or a reminder task for the owner a few days later.

What Bigin does not aim to do is run a series of emails that stops when the contact replies, waits a set number of days between steps, and branches based on opens or clicks. Automation options and limits also differ between Bigin editions, so check what your plan includes before designing anything around it.

If you need real sequences, you have three paths. Connect Bigin to Zoho Campaigns or another email tool and push contacts into a drip series. Use Zoho Flow to add timed steps between apps. Or move to Zoho CRM, where cadences handle multi-step follow-up with exit rules. The right choice depends on how many sequences you run and how much your team relies on them.
