How good is the Zoho CRM mobile app compared with the web version?

The Zoho CRM mobile app is good for daily field work: viewing and editing records, logging calls and notes, checking in at visits, scanning business cards and working offline. It is not meant for setup. Customisation, workflows, Blueprint design, imports and most admin settings stay on the web. Most teams use the app for sales activity and the web for everything else.

For salespeople on the road, the app covers what they need most. They can look up a contact before a meeting, update a deal stage, log a call, add a note or photo, and see their tasks and calendar. Location-based check-in and nearby customer views help field teams plan visits. Offline access lets them keep working with poor signal and sync later.

The gaps show up for admins and managers. You cannot design layouts, build workflows or change most settings from the phone. Some complex screens, such as wide related lists, large reports or custom widgets, are easier on the web. Blueprint transitions and custom buttons usually work on mobile, but test the ones your team relies on, because not every custom element behaves the same.

Before rolling out, set up mobile-friendly layouts with the fields people actually fill in. Long forms that are fine on a desktop are painful on a phone. Run a short pilot with two or three users and ask them what they skip. That feedback usually tells you which fields to move or remove.
