Why aren't appointments visible once territory permissions are on in Zoho FSM?
When territory-based permission is on in Zoho FSM, users with custom profiles see only records in their assigned territories. Service appointments follow the territory of their parent work order. If the work order has no territory, or a different one, the appointment is hidden from that user and only admins see it. Assign territories to users and work orders to fix it.

Territory permission is a filter on almost everything: contacts, companies, assets, requests, estimates, work orders, appointments, crews and time sheets. Each record type follows its own rule. Contacts and companies match on their addresses. Requests, estimates and work orders match on their territory field. Service appointments do not have their own territory test; they inherit visibility from the work order they belong to.
So the usual cause is simple. Work orders created before territories were set up, or created without a territory, are visible only to admins. Users removed from a territory also lose access straight away. The dispatch console only shows territories a user can access, so dispatchers may see empty boards if they are not assigned to the right ones.
To fix it, check the user's territories, then filter work orders with no territory and update them in bulk. Make the territory field required on new work orders, or set it by workflow from the customer address. Remember that creating a record does not grant access if its territory does not match. This feature is available on higher editions, so check the current Zoho FSM help.

Common questions
Do admins see all appointments?
