Why is nothing triggering my Zoho Marketing Automation journey?

Usually the journey is not active, the entry trigger does not match how contacts arrive, contacts are already in the journey and cannot re-enter, or tracking is not in place for behaviour-based triggers. Check the journey status, entry criteria, list or form source, re-entry settings and website tracking code, then test with a fresh contact you control.

Start with the basics. Confirm the journey is published and running, not saved as a draft or paused. Check the entry trigger. If it fires when a contact joins a list, but your form adds contacts to a different list, nothing happens. If it fires on a CRM sync, check that the sync is running and the field values match the criteria exactly.

Re-entry is another common cause. Existing contacts may be blocked from entering again, or the trigger only fires for new events after the journey started. Contacts added before you published will not enter unless you include them deliberately.

Behaviour triggers, like page visits or link clicks, need the tracking code on your website and contacts that are identified. Anonymous visitors cannot enter a contact journey. Use a test contact with your own email, step through each trigger, and watch the journey report to see where it stops.
