How do I set up a single unified customer portal across Zoho One apps?

Zoho apps each have their own portal: CRM portals, the Books customer portal, the Desk help centre and Creator portals. There is no simple switch that merges them all. The common approach is to pick one main portal, often a Zoho Creator portal, and bring data from CRM, Books, Desk and Projects into it, with single sign-on so customers log in once.

Separate portals work, but customers end up with several logins and links. Before building anything, list what customers need to do: view invoices and pay, raise tickets, see project status, download documents, update details. Then decide which app is the natural home for most of those tasks.

A Creator portal can pull data from Zoho CRM, Books, Desk and Projects through built-in integrations and APIs, and show it in one place with the customer's own records only. Payments can link to Books invoice pages, and tickets can be created in Desk from the portal. For simpler needs, the Desk help centre or Books portal with links to other apps may be enough.

Check Zoho's current help pages, since Zoho updates portal features and single sign-on options. Plan security carefully so customers never see another client's data.
