How do I integrate Apollo.io leads with Zoho CRM?

Apollo.io offers a native Zoho CRM integration that pushes contacts and accounts into CRM and can check for existing records. You connect it from Apollo's integration settings with a Zoho user. For custom rules, such as creating leads only after a reply, use Zoho Flow. Map fields, set duplicate checks and use assignment rules in CRM.

The native route is the quickest. In Apollo's settings, connect Zoho CRM with a user that can create leads, contacts and accounts. Choose whether Apollo creates leads or contacts, map fields such as title, company, phone and source, and decide how Apollo handles records that already exist in CRM.

Zoho Flow is useful when you need more control. For example, create a lead in CRM only when a sequence step gets a reply, tag it with the campaign, and assign it to the right rep. Flow can also check for duplicates by email before creating anything. Check the available Apollo triggers in Flow before you design the process.

Inside CRM, add a lead source value for Apollo, use assignment rules to route new leads, and set up a duplicate check rule on email. Remember data protection laws such as GDPR when importing contacts from a data provider, and record the lawful basis where your region requires it.
