Does Zoho Creator support version control or Git?

Zoho Creator does not offer native Git integration today. It does provide environments, letting you build in development, test in stage and publish to production, which gives controlled releases. Deluge code history and branching are limited, and community users have asked for Git support. Most teams keep exported copies of their apps and an external change log.

Environments are Creator's main tool for safe change. You make edits in development, push them to a stage environment for testing, then publish to production when ready. This separates work in progress from what users see and lets you test with sample data. Availability depends on your plan, so check whether your edition includes them.

What Creator lacks is the developer workflow many teams expect, such as commits, diffs, branches and pull requests in Git. You cannot link an app to a GitHub repository and track every change to Deluge scripts. Rolling back usually means republishing a previous version or restoring from a backup copy of the app.

The practical answer is discipline. Export the application definition before major changes and store it with a date, keep Deluge functions also saved in a repository by hand if the code is important, and log what changed and why. For larger teams, agree that only one person publishes to production. Check the current Zoho Creator help, since version features are an active request.
