Does Zoho Books work for Mexico CFDI e-invoicing?
Yes. Zoho Books has a Mexico edition built for businesses registered in Mexico, with support for CFDI electronic invoicing, stamping through an authorised certification provider, and the related XML and PDF files. You set up your RFC, tax regime and digital seal certificates, then issue stamped invoices from Books. Check the current Mexico help pages for supported document types.

CFDI is the electronic invoice format required by Mexico's tax authority. Each invoice must be stamped, known as timbrado, by an authorised provider before it is valid. The Mexico edition of Zoho Books handles this as part of the invoicing flow, so you do not need a separate tool to stamp invoices. You will need your CSD certificate files and password from the tax authority.
Setup includes your organisation's tax details, customer RFCs and tax regimes, product and service codes, and units of measure that match the official catalogues. Getting these catalogue codes right is the main source of rejected invoices. Credit notes and payment complements have their own rules, so check which document types your edition supports today.
The Mexico edition is meant for organisations based in Mexico. If you are a foreign company selling into Mexico without a local entity, CFDI may not apply in the same way. Talk to a Mexican accountant about your obligations before choosing the edition, since the edition is set when the organisation is created.
