Can I create filters automatically in Zoho Mail?

Zoho Mail does not build filters by itself, but it makes them quick to create from an email. Open or select a message and use the option to create a filter, and Zoho Mail pre-fills conditions such as the sender or subject. You then choose actions like moving to a folder, tagging or marking as read. Admins can also set organisation-wide rules.

Filters in Zoho Mail run on incoming mail and match conditions on sender, recipient, subject or content. Creating one from an existing message saves time, because the conditions are filled from that message. You adjust them, choose one or more actions, and save. You can also apply the new filter to existing mail in the folder.

For teams, admins can manage policies and rules from the admin console, which helps when several users need the same routing, such as sending invoices to a shared mailbox. Streams and shared mailboxes are also useful for routing team mail without each person building filters.

Keep filters few and clear. Too many overlapping rules make mail hard to find. Review them every few months and remove ones you no longer need. Check the current Zoho Mail help pages, as filter options and smart features are updated over time.
